RYDER BUSH – Class of 2025 (Athletic Poster Design)
This project was created as a personalized athletic poster design highlighting identity, movement, and presence. The goal was to capture a strong, confident moment from a minimal perspective while emphasizing clean visual impact.
I started by isolating the subject from a photograph and refining the silhouette to create a simplified, almost illustrated look. Instead of showing the face, I chose a rear view to focus on body language and posture—allowing the viewer to interpret confidence and forward motion.
To support the composition, I introduced a bold paint-texture background in warm yellow tones. This adds energy and contrast while framing the subject without overwhelming the design. The loose brush effect creates a balance between structure and expression.
This project focuses on combining photography, illustration, and typography into a cohesive sports graphic that feels modern, clean, and impactful.
